I believe you are correct.Jesse, I believe TwinForce was for the two forces of Turbo Charging and Direct Injection.
BUT, I also think the name for the the V6 Turbo engine(which debuted first) evolved into Twin Force being used in reference to the dual turbo setup and big HP, by both the media and the general public -- which I think is a big part of the reason Ford didn't use the name, as how it was perceived was not what they intended.
I personally like "TwinForce" much better than "EcoBoost"
