Hey everyone,

Removed my front bumper today on my 2020 Mustang GT.
Has anyone noticed the mystery connector after removing their front bumper?
Its located approximately in the middle and its not connected ...is it a sensor or something?
Or did I unconnect something by mistake...

Thanks everyone!

This may be the active grill shutters plug for regular non PP1 cars.

Do you have a picture? Is it in the center of the grille?
No picture sorry, I put it back together when I could not find a place to plug it.

did it look like this? The first time I took the front bumper off I found this zip tied under the crash bar. It’s a 2 prong plug, I assumed it was a block heater.

I think mine was on top of the crash bar, I just watched a video of someone removing the front bumper and removing the active shutter plug. Like Roger mentioned above..
Since mine is a PP1 it appears in the exact some location so I suppose Ford just left it on the PP1 cars... mine had absolutely no where I could find to connect. Thanks everyone!!

It could be the ambient temperature sensor.

That's what I figured. If it has 5 pins, its for the shutters.
