MyQ and Sync

Hello folks
I have installed MyQ for our garage doors. The phone app works great.

just wondering, if it’s possible to access the MyQ app from sync ui.

has anyone done this?

The only possible way would be to download the MyQ (whatever it is) app to the car, but you can't do that without a modem, and 2019 Bullitts don't have one. It could be possible with 2020s, or 2019 GTs with HotSpot Wi-Fi (which has a modem).

The MyQ stuff does not integrate directly into the Sync system. But.... if you have an Apple Homekit setup, then MyQ will integrate into your Homekit. As long as you are using iOS 13+ with carplay on Sync, on the screen that shows the GPS map, song playing, when you are within a 100 yards or so, you should see a button to open your garage door. Works in my cars/trucks.

Oh, now I remember the MyQ is the Wi-Fi garage door opener. I had one in my other house, but not on the new one. Never used it anyway. Ha ha. But if you don't have a garage door opener on the car, then it'd be good to have, I guess... although I never see myself using that CarPlay crap .
