MyColor doesnt change button illumination

Searched but didnt turn up much and the owners manual is not super helpful either.
Here's some context behind the question;
I had a 2009 GT that also had MyColor. It let you change gauge colors but there was also another option to change the colors of all the buttons and switches in the car; things like your radio buttons, HVAC buttons etc.

All I can find for MyColor is the settings in the steering wheel controls which controls the Gauges (speedo/tach only seems like) Footwell Lights and Door Sill plates.

Are we not able to change the colors of the other illuminated hardware? The lightish blue that it is looks fine but I prefer them to match and am wondering if I'm just missing something?

The backlight for the buttons are fixed and cannot be made to match the Mycolor settings. If you want them to match, you have to set your gauges and interior color scheme to an ice blue color. That's what I did and I have my halo color set to red. Looks really good this way.
