Sync 3 has gone down 2 times now and lost my settings but apart from that it's all good.

Just had a drive in a Ford UK demo 18. I have to say I was impressed and actually liked it more in the metal than I thought I would. I still hate the old wheels though.

I liked the digi dash but didn't really get a chance to play. The new exhaust is sooo much better than the old OEM one..... (not in terms of looks necessarily, but the basic sound and the adaptive ability is cool)

My 2018 Mustang is a wonderful car. It exceeds all my expectations.

Great headlights
Beautiful front with bonnet vents included as stock
Grippy and accurate tyres
Loads of power and plenty of revs with the V8
An automatic gearbox that is a complete marvel, both economical and a complete blast
Magnetic suspension that holds the road, flattens the car and smooths out bumps
A wonderful exhaust, what a sound and looks great (less like a wheelbarrow)
Beautiful tan interior matches the Oxford white exterior (best colour btw!)
A cruise control that follows the car in front, I like this very much
A nice clear windscreen (no heating elements like my Mondeo)
Waze maps for free
Comfy seats, nice feel to the heated steering wheel and a nifty bright and clear digi dash.

I don't like the Sport steering setting, normal and comfort are much more natural and I would like to set the Magneride as an independant option.

Just what I wanted, I'm really glad I switched from my '17 order and I prefer the looks. The 15-17 is looking a bit old these days, but perhaps that is because I've got used to my '18.
Your comment about wanting independant option on the mag ride has me interested, could you share your thoughts on this point with us

I'll give a short review after I have some more miles on it.

I will start with the not so good

Rear fender, one of the clips are not fastened correctly
The trunk needs alignment
The passenger door is to inwards(I believe this has been adjusted already as the paint on the front fender has been chipped)
The drivers door is to outwards
The hood needs alignment
The GPS antenna on the dash is loose

It's so bad that one of the pasaanger side door has rubbed the fender....

If the gps antenna is the little nipple thing in the middle of the front dash near the window mine was popping up at a jaunty angle. A drop of super glue sorted that out. I tried UHU at first but it just made a mess and popped back up. After cleaning off the UHU overspill the Poundland super glue worked a treat.

I've owned a few American built cars before. The fit and finish has never been any good with them. I fully expected my Mustang to be just as bad and it does have little things not quite right here and there. All I do is fix them or point them out to observers as an example of USA quality for a laugh. No big things wrong yet but I'm betting the extended warranty will be worth it.

Wow. 2.9 seconds 50-70 in the auto vs 9.6 in the manual :eyebulge:

Don't know much about how these tests are done, but is that a fair test???

its because of the re-ratio of the gearbox on the manual they've really kinda killed it for acceleration in manual now (don't know why the fuck they did that tbh) but the new ratios really really suit chargers/turbos on the manual

In the previous car the 1:1 gear was 5th. In the new car it's 4th. To get 9.6s pretty much tells me one thing; they were in way too high a gear, probably top. Even the previous car chugged in a high gear.

Hard to believe it takes 9.6 seconds to go from 50 to 70 ??
