My Shaker system......sucks....

Just thought I'd post a quick update to my SHAKER woes. Dropped it off at the dealer yesterday and their contracted radio guy took it apart. He ended up ordering a new FM antenna wire and master control module. As he was putting it back together so I could take the car home, the system "magically" came to life. FORD had not connected something properly, and as he redid it the system finally sounded as it should. I'll play with the settings and input options a bit more this weekend, but the system now sounds more like I expected. Not aftermarket good, but I now feel that it will meet my needs.

This afternoon I connected my iPhone 5 to the Mustang Pro Shaker audio using Pandora and the sound was amazing! Light years better than FM, Sirius or CD/DVD. This will be my music source going forward. I guess that is what GoBlues38 said in an earlier post. We already have a subscription to Pandora so for me, this is a great solution.

Um, you may want to check your CD's then; Pandora is pretty poor for sound quality - "mobile devices receive a variety of different rates depending on the capability of the device and the network they are on, but never more than 64k AAC+" That's terrible.

Try Spotify at the 320k rate (hard wire, no Bluetooth) and you'll never use Pandora again. ;)

Yea I had this same gripe a long time ago as soon as the car came out and people said I was too critical and it wasn't that bad but it does suck. I would have replaced it by now if I wasn't more interested in a blower.

If you are on the expressway with windows down you can not hear the radio at full volume. That's sad for the upgraded system man.
