OMG that's a lotta crap on there. boostane is awesome. i put in 350ml each fill up and it gets the knock monkey off my back. my plugs looked just like yours after just 1000 miles... at best! it REALLY builds up fast huh. i tried to keep a set of e85 plugs and 93 octane plugs but i gave up. i still do a plug change before i run e85 each spring and a bigger pully. Have you ever noticed spark blowout once they get caked up? that is a clean photo too usually its a potato phone quality portrait. What im concerned with is e85 Sensors use real and imaginary resistances they crap may screw that reading up im really curious now ima check mine!

on a separate note do you run that tight of a spark gap because you were experiencing issues and you were messing with them or did you set it on purpose. i had to go down that far on another car but that's only when boost got in the 30's. I wonder if the O2 just gets so hot it burns all that crap off. i almost died when i saw your photo of the plug.
fart.
Never noticed any spark blow out that I'm aware of.
The gap is roughly .027-.028 that seems to be the recommended range for blower applications, Tuner also wanted them gapped at .028

Could probably get away with opening them up a smidge.

After cleaning the plugs the throttle definitely felt for responsive and tight, especially at the low end.

Out here in the not so great state of California, since we can only get 91 octane, I started running a few gallons of VP racing fuel per tank. Using either the C-9 or C-10, depending on what deal I can find. Both are unleaded. The C-10 is 100 octane. What a difference over just pump gas. Both overall performance and cold-starts are completely different. It is just super quality fuel with no crap added.
Not sure of the availability in your area.
Cheers,

Out here we have several places that carry Sunoco race fuel by the 5 gal pale. When summer arrives I'll probably switch over the adding that to the 93.

How much did you pay for the VP?

Just to throw my experience out there. In my ‘19 GT I ran Octanium all the time and I got rid of the car at 73,000 miles without ever changing a plug and I thought the car ran fantastic until it was gone. Never felt anything was bogging it down.

It’s $90 per 5 gallons. If I DD this car it wouldn’t make sense. It’s just a fun weekend car, so a few extra bucks for good fuel is no biggie.

Worth noting; everything, I repeat, everything out here is so expensive that a few more bucks for gas means nothing. Premium(91) is $5.50 gallon and there is an exorbitant tax on everything you do or buy. It’s nutz.

$5.50?!? Damn!I suddenly i feel better about $3.75 for 93 here.

Like you, when I switch, it will just be for weekends primarily. It's definitely not as economical as an additive. But I'll feel better about it long term I think.

That's good 👍

I like Octanium, it definitely wont stain nearly as much as Boostane.

I pour a few Oz into a measuring container. After 2 uses the Boostane cup is WAY WAY more orange than the cup I use.for Octanium (though still tint slightly orange)

If the plugs look like that…. What do the cylinders and valves look like after running boostane - is the entire inside of the engine now all orange?

Engine dye mod! *Lightbulb* I could market that to the Gen Z Honda/WRX crowd and make a fortune.
