I wish they offered these wheels in a matte silver and a gloss black. I think these wheels in Gloss black would look great on your white S550. I'm not much of a black wheel guy, but I think on white and red cars that gloss black wheels can look very good.

Regardless, your car looks fantastic. The stance is perfect.
I actually considered getting them powder coated black, and I actually purchased some plasti dip and glossifier. There is nobody in my area I trusted to do the powdercoat, and my test of the plasti dip came out subpar. Maybe in the future.

My car was a non pp car, with 18 inch tires. The CJ springs firmed thing up a LOT. It is firm but in no way harsh or punishing. If ride comfort is of upmost importance I would go with steeda 1 inch kit though. These definitely put the car down low in the front, so low that when I lowered the jack it was stuck under the car until I drove the front tires up on a 2x4 for additional ground clearance.

.40 front with 5 mm spacers, so .45 total
That is the offset. Do all +40mm wheels have the same backspacing? I'm trying to compare another wheel to this, the one I am looking at is a +40mm with a 7.07" backspacing. Want to know if the fitment/flush with the fender will be the same.

If it is the same width and the same offset, I think the backspacing will be the same. Not sure though.

My new tire & wheel setup

Back spacing is a measurement from the outside edge of the inside lip of the wheel to the mating face of the wheel hub and the offset is a measurement from the mating face of the wheel hub to the wheel centerline

So yes, drabon, you're correct.

What springs specifically did you get? Also, are your headlights smoked?

Their the same, factor in however the design of the wheel in the sense of concavity.
