Anyone know how to make this go away? Setting a mode doesn’t do it. Turning off my mode doesn’t do it. I can’t cycle to other menus like trip 1, 2, fuel economy, etc.

I think you need to press the horse icon on your steering wheel, click my mode, then uncheck show status. Alternatively, I believe if you press the gear on the steering wheel, you can select show trip info.

Not in my car right now, but this is whats from memory.

The horse icon thing did not work, but going through the main menu and selecting trip info did work. I found a reddit article earlier.
Disconnecting the battery was also quoted. I’m sure that would work but turned out unnecessary.
Finally, they also mentioned selecting custom gauges. That also didn’t work for me.
So thank you! Solution provided.

You don't have to unselect it, just choose another display setting:

(Pony)->My Mode -> Show My Mode
This shows the current my mode status of each setting.

(Pony)->Gauges -> Show Gauges
This will show you the currently selected (up to 3) gauges. You may have to select 1-3 under gauges->select gauges.
You can flip up/down between the gauge display, real time data, and G-Meter

(Gear)->Trip Info
This will show you the last selected trip info setting. You can flip up/down between trip 1, 2, fuel economy, blank/nav.

Only #3 worked for me, not sure why.

The settings have some bugs for sure.

I bounce between them routinely.
I will say though, I've had to select the option more than once to get it to change.
Odd occurrence but one in 50 times I have to select it 2-3 times, which sounds much like your symptoms.

I also just noticed something in checking when the vehicle is on/accessory but not running.
"Show My Mode" shows all the settings that will be changed, but the exhaust selection will be whatever the start is, not what you have selected for it while the car is running.
(ie: during quiet hours, it will show quiet. outside quiet it shows normal. Even though I have track as my preselected, which it does change to if I use MyMode while its running.)

The other funky catch for quiet start, is selecting quiet hours doesn't commit until you cycle power.
If its 8pm and your set time is 9pm-9am, but change it to 8pm in accessory mode, if you continue to start the car it will start in normal.
You have to change it, turn the vehicle off to commit the change, then start the car.

You also can't go into accessory/on, change it to quiet outside 'quiet start hours' and just start the car quietly. It will start in normal. (even though you can hear the actuators move as you select the modes).
It's all in how the car pulls the settings when it cycles to a start.

Very weird.

Now from Trip info, can you go into gauges, select them and then 'show gauges' ?
Yes, now that I’m unstuck.

It was just the my mode screen that I got stuck on. After reviewing the manual I think I turned it on without setting a “my mode” yet. The manual says not to do that, so maybe it was a weird coding gremlin.
