I have a buddy that has been in contact with one of the writers at Jalopnik before. I sent an email to him to see if he will give me his email address. It may not do any good, but they will hear about this!

And now my order is cancelled. So ya all be careful what you post so you don’t get into any legal troubles. I won’t be among you guys with new

Did you have a signed contract with your dealership with your order? If so, how can Ford terminate that? That is between you and the dealer.

Wow this is absolute bullshit, there was nothing in that dealer guide that we didn't know already. Maybe a few comparison's to other models that revealed sales strategy but that is textbook sales 101.

Know your competition and how/why you stand out above and beyond them.

By doing this, and cancelling this guys order for something the DEALER gave him is flat out wrong.

I can understand punishing the dealership for giving this out, and taking their allocation away MAYBE. But cancelling this guys order is about as low as it gets.

I don't get it, what else is not known about the car (besides MPG and other nitty details that no one cares about)? At this point there are no real secrets so not sure what Ford's problem is. Instead of trying to put out the fire of enthusiasm, they should look at this as a good thing that people are excited. This site and its members have done more to generate buzz than their own marketing if you ask me.

Time to contact Jalopnik for sure.
