Planning my over the winter mods. My current engine mods to my 2020 GT are limited to Lund Flex/E85R tunes and an Injen Evo (closed) intake. Exhaust is factory active with a Borla SwitchFire midpipe. My 2 trains of thought are as follows:

1) Catted LTH's with an axle back exhaust utilizing the factory active system keeping the Borla Switchfire

or.......

2) Ford Performance 4.09 gears (3.55/manual trans currently) with aforementioned exhaust

Looking for feedback......i.e. pros/cons of each. Other items to consider? Just FYI I'm not looking to go FI. Keeping this bolt-ons only.

I have Steeda IRS braces, Steeda tower brace and the Ford OE k-member brace installed as well as Steeda progressive springs with non-adjustable Pro-Action dampers. This will be turning into a fair weather daily driver come winter. No track duty at all.

Gears for sure if you're already tuned. No brainer. You will have to get the tune updated to play nice with the active rev match though.

I've got an email into Beefcake as they are local to me. I asked about tuning updates from Lund when the would do the install of the gears.

Agreed on the hard decision. That will give you a more noticable improvement versus the other option.
