Yeh, I get that.

Fairly easy for me as I have plenty of access to other vehicles (although I did end up with a 240k Renault Trafic at the weekend!) and I can build business trips around drop off and collection but it wasn't a week.
Dropped off Friday afternoon and collected first thing Wednesday morning.

It would be a week for me as I wouldn't bother travelling to London during the week due to work. Would much prefer doing it on the exchange and then it can be done in a morning

True that! I got lucky as it hit with my christmas off work, probably would have had to leave it a week if i was at work during the time of doing them! :lol:

So, I was approaching a t junction and when I looked to my left I noticed a lad on a bmx haring down the pavement towards me with a look of horror on his face. He clearly intended in going straight across the road junction but now I was blocking his route.

As I started to select reverse gear (knowing he cant stop) he made a brave decision and decided to lay the bike down. I saw him disappear from view, looking out my passenger window and then a quick glimpse of legs, arms and wheels as he and the bike barrel rolled and came to a stop inches from the car.

Only damage was his pride as he picked himself up and apologised before he rode off, assuring me he was ok.

Easy to be annoyed and I may well have been if he had scratched or dented the car but I did smile as I remembered rear ending a car in my youth following him down a hill.

Anyway. picture time. Not great quality but I love it.

It is the time tunnel!

Its crap though. I programmed it to be in 1957 Chicago, America so I could drive route 66 (as it was) but I came out at 2.57pm on March 4th 2017 in a cold drizzly Hastings!
