Before I tell my story I want to personally thank [MENTION=23886]gleek48[/MENTION] and [MENTION=17837]raiderjatt02[/MENTION]. Gleek48 gave me the lead on this car and without that lead I would have most likely been still spinning my wheels looking in Cali. Raiderjatt02 has been graciously helpful in answering all my silly questions regarding the car, and writing out leads for where to get it wrapped, where to do a muffler delete, etc. I owe you.
As for my story, I'm a native to the Bay Area and have been a fan of Mustangs my whole life. My Dad was a car mechanic by trade and I spent much of my youth watching and working with him in our garage while he fixed other people's cars as a side job. When I was 7 he purchased a white 1967 mustang and I was hooked after that.
In 1993 he purchased a Mustang GT and in 1995 he passed it down to me. For the next 5 years I ran this car below at what was then called Sears Point with a Griggs Racing suspension.

In 2001 I got married and the GT was sold (regret that now). Started my career in 2000, we had twins in 2009 and purchased a home in 2015. With those boxes all checked off it was time to get back in blue and back on the track. So this past Saturday I got this special delivery below. LB, Black roof with the convenience package.

That cold start is something else.
Overall, I'm more than pleased with this car. The color is much better in person and my god does this thing sound wonderful. Simply said, this car makes me want to drive all day long. It's washed, sealed with Ammo reflex and Skin now and ready for a clear bra next month. Oil separators will be installed this weekend and then it's off to the track as soon as I get to 1000 miles.

The goal for his car will be long weekend drives with the family and hard runs at the track. My 7 year old twins have requested that I pick them up from school today in the Shelby so I'll cut this short. Below is an added clip of when they came back from the park with my Dad and found the car in the driveway.
