Is Ford Performance calling all 2015 owners?
I don't believe so. I haven't received a call from them - I've made the calls to them. :-)

You don’t want to know
I'd be more worried about the pimply faced lot boy or, the entire dealership treating it like the town whore.
That's why my order specifies, in writing, that I will be present when the truck arrives to deliver my GT350 to the dealer, that no one will drive it except the tech who has to do the mechanical PDI (and on the dealer's lot only) and that I will drive the car to the gas station for the first fill-up.

It usually starts from Sales manager, then sales guys and finally lot boy. When I used take my [S/C]Z06 to dealer, I had to stand outside watch it, so they won't take it joyride. This is a big problem with new high power cars. Everyone at dealership wants to abuse it.

Just can't get enuff!
Let me know if I can help out....I live in the DC area and make frequent trips to South FL. :)
I think delivery to the dealer is anytime this coming week or next.... we are just awaiting word from Ford when the transporter is on route. As soon as I find out I'll be flying into DE and I will likely want it shipped in an enclosed trailer. Anyone w/ an insured closed carrier want to earn some buck$$$ for delivering it to me (approx. 1100 miles from Dover, DE to Ft. Lauderdale, FL)... load it up same time when I'm there at the dealership, please feel free to PM me.

You might find ask Tina if she can find out who the transporter is that is delivering to their dealership in Dover after which time you might want to call them to see if they could cut you a deal from Dover to your home in Fort Lauderdale?

Just a thought otherwise give Exotic a call.

Yeah we talked about it for a bit.... I'll ask if that other 'drop ship' type of delivery option is even feasible. Thanks!

It's funny - never occurred to me to worry about this. I think part of it is I don't believe anyone else will abuse the car as much as me. :D

When my '14 GT500 hit the dealership I was there for the entire PDI, incl. the check ride. Your dealership should do the same thing for you if you ask and are nice about it.

Some guys opt to bypass the PDI, but that leaves them open to eating any issues that are found later on, esp. cosmetic issues. Don't bypass the PDI, just monitor it. ...and be nice about it.

Congrats on all that are getting a 2015 model year. I tried with no luck. No Dealers in the Southeast could even order 1. At least in my part of the woods. But I did get a 2016 Avalanche Grey with Black Strips, Black Roof and Track Pack.
Car is being built Monday and Dealer is saying I will have it late August/Early September. Vin # 1FA6P8JZ4G5520108.

I'm just surprised that the 15's are being built on 29th and my 16 is being built on Monday 3rd.

I dying with anticipation!

Thanks! I super stoked. I've been bugging ford since last November. The Girl at Ford was coping me on the emails she was sending to the dealer with updates. Supposedly I was 1st 2016 order the submitted??? But who cares as long as I get the car!

Congratulations on your 2016 GT350.

I really like the color combination that you chose along with the Track Pack option.

Did you purchase your car in the Carolina's?

For what it is worth are 3 - 2015 GT350's that I know of being delivered here in South Carolina so there were a few around.

Hopefully I will see your new GT350 in our neighborhood very soon and can't wait to see that color combination in person?

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

This was in reference to the people buying out of state and having their cars shipped to them.
