There was a big GM strike before Covid-19, so they really couldn't run the production this year

Yeah, that’s what I wrote back on page 2 but it was disputed, so I provided some hard numbers.

You are wrong sir I have never trashed the Mach E and may even buy one and the only thing I have said and will continue about the new Mach1 is it doesn't look like a Mach1. And I may even buy the Mach1 instead of the Mach E.

I’d still put my money on the ss 1le for road course track work versus the pp2 stock for stock. Tremec vs mt-82 is a no brainer imo. If your throwing on aftermarket upgrades then pick your poison.

Just did a quick nationwide search on cars.com for new 2020 cars:
1200 Camaros
4000 Mustangs

It looks like GM wants to put their effort in profitable cars/trucks and the Camaro ain’t it.

That could be true... I also think it’s a heritage factor and the fact that a v6 Mustang or Convertible also works for an older lady or a younger driver...
A challenger or Camaro may not fix the 1st scenario so there’s also the heritage factor at play there.

Ford actually did a pretty good job considering the age of the platform and Covid issues. GM is really struggling with the Camaro. The 19 front end was a mess, and I think the sales demonstrate that the interior and exterior are a big distractor for buyers.

The Ford Mustang has pulled out to a commanding lead ahead of the Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro.

Through the first six, very challenging months of the year, Ford sold 33,786 Mustangs, bolstered by the new top of the line Shelby GT500, which is the most powerful Ford ever at 760 hp.

Dodge delivered 22,018 Challengers during the same period, but saw a drop of 23 percent from the prior year compared to the Mustang’s 12.3 percent. Watch out for a late charge with the introduction of the Challenger Super Stock as the most powerful American car on sale at 807 hp and the accompanying hype for the lineup this fall.

The Chevy Camaro is a very distant third with just 13,860 cars delivered, down 43.35 percent from 2019. No major new versions are expected to be introduced this year as the first mid-engine Corvette steals the spotlight at the Bowtie Brand.

I dont know about 6th gen 1LE, but my 13 easily walked away from pp1s on road courses
