I’m going along to the preview in Manchester on the 2nd purely because I pass by on my commute. I suspect they have one semi working pre prod example touring the big U.K. dealerships to drum up pre orders.
Got a call this afternoon from Evans halshaw asking me if I would be attending and to confirm my time slot to see the machee. Strangely we were just taking the kids to for a mc Donald’s at the time and the salesman’s pronounciation made it sound like he was trying to flog me a Big Mac. I will probably pop along to see how it fails to compare to the Tesla 3.
Well I popped into Evans halshaw in Manchester in my way home from work last night to see this mache thing.
It looks like most other generic white goods cars. The build quality appears good, the interior is very Tesla with a big iPad in the middle, but with the addition of a small screen directly infront of the driver for important info. Space inside looks good, but certainly not luxurious. Luggage space is severely compromised for an suv with the sloped hatchback. Certainly not an sUv if you value the Utility element.
After that I went looking at the 0% pcp deals they are offering on real mustangs. Asked about registering interest for the new Mach 1 when it’s launched later this year. The salesman immediately took me back to the mache.... doh useless
