Your right, Shelby didn't have anything to do with "designing" the Mustang. He was contracted by Fird to tune a performance version of it. In fact Shelby criticized the mustang at first by calling it a "secretary's car".

He did have input into the reintroduction of the GT500 for 2005, but how much is up to debait.


But historically Shelby's name is connected to the mustang. It's just usually tuned performance versions.

On an Ecoboost ??! Sorry to be critical again, but it really shows you have little idea what Shelby did and who he was. This is rice in its worst edition , undoubtedly unique though.

shelby did not mean he was the designer or the 2015 or the Ecoboost Mustang, simply that history is closely linked to shelby mustang generally could have put any sticker of any other Roush coach saleen etc

In the states Badges and stickers say a lot about the car. Placing Shelby stickers or Badges on a regular mustang is like putting an "M" on a regular BMW. It's usually considered that someone is trying to claim the car is something it is not.
