Obviously as requested we'll keep the questions to the dedicated email address but while you're here can you comment on a rumour that's surfaced today that several cars were destroyed in the recent storms to hit the US east coast?

Hi Karen and welcome!

Thanks for all your help thus far (I'm order H0099) and for your ongoing support with enquiries. We know you're at the mercy of the info you're given and that it's not exactly concrete at that, especially given manufacturing/shipping delays to compound delivery issues.

Hopefully the wait (for me at least) is nearly over. Was given ETA of 9th April earlier today. Not March as I'd hoped, but c'est la vie.

Hi. I'm Colin (order K0003) with a GT order from Gowrings Reading.

I have a build date showing on your system as 24th March & am awaiting confirmation of this and the VIN number.

Can you shed light on the build schedule of right-hand drive cars at all? Lots of rumors but never had a real answer. i.e. how often does Flat Rock switch to RHD & for how long / how many etc.

Many thanks, I know a lot of people would like to know something on this.

Welcome to the forums!

After our many dealings, (im sure this is echo'd by other forum members) it's great to see you two here, being our main port of call for our beloved cars. Guess it's right that you get the name to the forum posts - Steve/Stephen (Surnames quite easily guessable by the forum name hint; it's not Mustang!).

You two have been great with replying and keeping us up to date with our cars, and made the jounrey much more bearable, so it's great to see you here. I'm sure between us on the forum we've got endless ways of making the Mustang even more perfect!

As Col's said above me, knowing/having transparency of the process would be something that would help us fanatics, and could be something nice to those whom are buying the Mustang, but aren't quite as obsessed as we are!

Anyway, i'll stop yapping, welcome and thank you for your help so far, not long now until my car comes (well, a lot less longer than originally presumed ;) )!!!

I'm not as IT savvy as some of them young dudes, all I know is my cars built, and was at the docks at some point, no idea if it's on a ship or not, but eta to the dealership is 23 April (Evans Hallshaw, Glasgow)

Don't want to buy a Nissan 370Z Nismo, do you? :lol: (George BTW ;))

While on the way to pick my wife up a Valentines present (i know:frusty, I thought I would pop in and see my dealer for a quick catch up. Good news is that expected delivery to dealership is still around mid March (19th based on his system).

However, while there, he just got off the phone to another customer explaining why she will not be receieving her car anytime soon. Apparantly, a number of cars, while awaiting to be loaded onto vessels to leave Baltimore, had there windows left open by the drivers. The storms hit and the cars were flooded. Ford deemed these cars were too damaged to be sold or repaired, so sent them back for the crushers!!!.

Hope this will not affect anyone here (shame its affecting anyone really).
