I have the opportunity to get careless kooks lt headers and x pipe for a steal, not dying to be heard in the next county, muffler recommendation ? Thanks and yes I know it’ll be loud but I’d like to make it livable

Adding headers and not using the resonator is going to be loud regardless which non active mufflers you use:
Take a look at,

These made a big difference especially during cold starts in the mornings.

I second the valved exhaust or corsa touring mufflers. Valve exhaust is one of the best options it's nice because at the push of a button you can quiet the car down when you spot a cop. Or when you don't want to piss off your neighbors. They are not typically in stock though they are made to order. I assume they get them from overseas I doubt they build them here. There is a guy on YouTube that has good videos on his set.
