Hello all just curious to see if anyone else has had experience with the MT Street comp tires being extremely slippery when cold. Left work this evening in about 55 degree weather and the car pitched to the left hard about 55-60 degrees from the direction i wanted to go, lucky there were no cars coming towards me. I was able to correct it by punching the gas and turning towards the right. Once the tires warm up a little they do pretty good. Sad part was this was in second and maybe 2500-3000 rpm if that. checked tire pressure, rears are at 34 and fronts are at 38lbs. Springs are BMR plus cb005 lock out if that matters.

Thanks
Ron

That seems to be the one common complaint I've read about the MT Street Comp tires, grip is poor when cold, but everyone really seems to like how well they look and perform when warmed up for the price of the tires.

Personally, I've tried running so many different tires and finally realized that when it comes to tires, you usually get what you pay for, and Michelin tires are at the top of my list.

All tires are like that when its cold, they need to warm up. Now when a tire is dedicated summer youll see this more often then other tires made for other conditions.
