MT on interiors

Just read a MT article on MSN picking the camaros interior as one of the 10 best of 2016. They said it was because of the soft materials and ambient lighting. The article went on to pick the Chrysler pacifica also and the rest were foreign cars. And not one Ford was even mentioned. Further proof that MT is a trash publication and needs to be shut down.

So, a private, for profit publication publishes an article written by 1-2 (or however many) paid staffers on their opinions about the best car interiors, and because your precious Mustang wasn't on that list, and the Camaro (gasp!) was, you want to remove their right to freedom of expression and "shut them down?"

I think MT is trash and Chevy biased all day long...but to call it propaganda?

We do get good stuff sometimes from them, like their video H2H's can offer insight..I'd rather not see them go out of business or the people lose their jobs.

I think the new camaro interior wowed lot of people who actually have seen or been in a fifth gen camaro. They went from a 3 to an 8 while mustang went from a 7 to an 8.5.

I owned a 5th gen Camaro. So I can attest that they would be easily wowed. The 5th gen was horrible. I've never seen more plastic in my life.

I owned a 5th gen Camaro. So I can attest that they would be easily wowed. The 5th gen was horrible. I've never seen more plastic in my life.

If you see the 5th gen interior and then see the 6th gen Camaro interior, it's definitely leaps and bounds ahead. Just like the Mustangs was.

The Camaro though cramped has a lot of nice stuff on the interior. The interface, the seat materials, the vents, the rear view mirror, etc. It definitely is a nice interior. Ford made the list the year before.

If so, this isn't even Motor Trends rankings. It is Wards Auto, so I guess you're boycotting the wrong thing.

Second, it appears that it is only for new model cars which is why only 47 were up for the award.

Third, the new Camaro interior is pretty nice so I don't see what the issue is.

I'm confused as to why anybody would think that the Mustang deserves to be in a "10 best interiors" in the first place. The S550's interior is much better than the S197's, for sure, but world-class it is not. I can't speak to the new Camaro, but I have been in the new Audi TT and Lexus RX (both of which are on this list), and they are MILES ahead of the S550 on interior quality. But really, they should be, because they're more expensive vehicles.
