I have a 2019 gt which is currently fbo e85 and soon I plan on installing a hellion tt kit. I am looking at wheels and tires in advance. I found a pair of 17x10 welds I might want to get and it is between getting MT ET Street R in 285/45R17 or 305/45R17. Is there a major difference between the extra 3/4 inch of the 305 while under 900whp? I would say "go big or go home" but the 305's are $50-$60 more than the 285's, so on a financial standpoint, is 3/4 of an inch of contact worth the extra 60 for drag radials with that level of power? Also how would the smaller size effect looks. I know the 305's would have a taller sidewall.
