MP3 player problem

I there a setting on the B&O radio that will allow the MP3 player to control the play rather than the radio? The reason I ask is that the MP3 player works great on my truck radio with a 3.5mm cable and AUX setting on the radio. When I hook up to the B&O radio, some music cannot be played because it is copyright protected. But, I recorded this music from the CD album I purchased and own!
