I've lived in the Chicago area for 40 years straight. Never had a single car stolen. (Knock on wood) These guys think in rural Illinois, near Iowa is all GTA. LOL. Pure comedy.

My old company had its Midwest HQ in Elgin. Always enjoyed going there and then into Chicago itself. Always had a good time.

I am 3 miles west of the city border. I live in a little Mayberry like town of 10,000 people. Police arrive in 2 minutes, even for a parking ticket.
