FYI Walmart has this for $17.97 for a 5 qt jug and the singles are on sale for $3.93 each.

The 500S filter is $5.39

Walmart also has free shipping for the next few days with no minimum FYI.

Got a full oil change for $35. No dealership hassle or waiting an hour plus for a stupid oil change (if it wasn't free with the car I would've complained big time)

i use the same oil and filter. Excellent price and excellent oil.

Also, If you buy your filter and oil from walmart they will change the oil for FREE. But i always do it myself.

Too many horror stories from family and friends about oil changes at Wal Mart. Definitely better to do it yourself.

Yeh the whole point is i dont even want the dealership doing it let alone Walmart. I only did it at the dealership the first time because it was free. I only go to the delaership when absolutely required (recall etc). Try to do all repairs myself that are reasonable so I know it's done right.

Just wanted to share the oil is on good special from Walmart for $35 for 8 quarts and OEM filter; and they have free shipping today for I think 3 days to compete with Amazon's Prime day(s) going on now.

Yep, good quality oil that has been tested several places. Thanks for the heads up. Just did mine.

Exactly what I used and where I got from just last week for my first oil change. You can't beat that price, they're genuine Ford products and if it's good enough to be OEM, it's good enough to go back in. I'll change every 5k and have a great peace of mind.

Keep receipts...

If you get your oil/filter changed at Ford dealership...they automatically save the data for your warranty coverage. If you do it yourself...keep the receipts and log in the mileage. Ford may invalidate your warranty if you can't prove that you changed it at least at recommended miles and/or if you used approved oil and filter.

You got it. I save EVERY receipt in a hard cover binder for everything I do to mine.
