I have the A118-C... it's super cheap and the quality is amazing. Probably best bang for the buck
How would you remove that if needed in the future? With fishing wire?

And how well does the adhesive tolerate heat? Houston gets prettttyyy hot in the summer.

No different than the badges on your car. Floss and goof off. Once this thing is on, it's not going anywhere.

It's not going anywhere. Mine has sat out in Florida heat all day at car shows w/out issue. That said, some adhesive remover and pressure will certainly work to remove it.

So glad I came across this. I put a dashcam on my Christmas list and my girl doesn't know what to get. I like the blackvue but it is pricey. Anyone know of a camera that you can turn towards the driver in case you get puller over?

It would be upside down but technically the blackvue could be spun around to face the driver.

The catch with that is you will have to mount it kinda low on the windshield or off-center. I have mine behind (in front?) of the rear view mirror, just below the frit and turning it wouldn't pick anything up. The audio is still there though...

Edit: I guess if you took the time to turn it around, you could also move the mirror to an angle....

I wouldn't do either as the audio is plenty in most instances. I was just trying to find a solution to his question. You are correct though it would require a lot of extra work and prevent good hidden placement.

While the BlackVue 650 is pricier than other models, I personally love the parking mode, which activates after 5 minutes of non-movement. Watch this video here, it helped me with my decision making: [ame=""]

Odd that nobody has mentioned the Thinkware F750....I just bought this one and am having it installed tomorrow, the research I have done led me to this one....here's a video posted by a tech company, the video isn't really a review, other than just a video comparison, but their comments tend to tilt towards the Thinkware....

A few people On the GB Mustang forum, has them and I have brought one. Does so many more features then the rest. One question for you clever people, where on a convertible can i fit the rear camera? was thinking somewhere behind the back seats?
