I have the Blackview 600 and one thing i haven't been able to do is update the firmware.
I'm able to update to my iphone APP but somehow not able to download it to my cam via house WIFI.

Besides that it works great and very happy with it.

Be wary of having the speed recorded as it could come back to bite you in the event of an accident unless you are always driving at or below the limit.
I have considered this implication but in my everyday driving I am in rush hour and speeding isn't really an option. Plus it's a quick 30 second operation to turn it off if I ever need to. With the sound of my exhaust I have more than once been accused of excessive speeds when I was actually still under the speed limit and having the video stamp has saved a lot of headaches.

Copy it to the SD, don't try and do it via wifi.

I first bought a Mobius that didn't work very well. Got it because it was cheap but it never worked right. Just bought a Blackvue DR650GW-2CH that i have yet to put in the car. Hope it works better than the Mobius.

They work really well. The only issue I had initially was getting the wifi to connect regularly. After a firmware update that has only been an issue a couple of times.

The install is really easy. Our headliner is super loose, so running and tucking the wires takes no time at all.

I want a rear window dash cam in case of a rear end accident but I am concerned about it becoming a flying object if I get into a regular accident.

The rear camera is less than 1oz in weight, stuck with double sided tape, not to mention the wires will have to be pulled out of the headliner, from the rear of the car to the front windshield. You'll win the lottery 3 times and be given a dozen 350R's before that little camera does any damage.

If you do it right and tuck wires and use the included wire clips even if it came ff during a crash it would only move at most 2-3 inches forward. It is also very light and would be unlikely to do any damage to people or objects. The mounting stuff they provide required excessive amounts of force to remove from the window (but did come of clean with no residue). I think it is unlikely the camera would dislodge under its own weight even under crash loading.

+1 for blackvue 650... Add a power magic pro to have parking mode without draining the battery. It's easy to wire up to the inside fuse box and hide all the cords. Pricier option but helps me sleep at night.
