That's what I did....kept the stock manifolds and will put them back in 5 years when I need to smog. Obviously, I'm in Calif. too.

Are you going with catted headers? Catless headers seemed louder when I heard them. I haven't had a side by side comparison of catless and catted, but I'm pretty sure the catless headers were signficanly louder.

i was probably going with the catted versions.
its a shame our state is so strict with this.
