My view on opti-coat still hasn't changed, I will be getting my yearly inspection in March so I will raise my issues then.Bumping this thread

As for the G-technique on the rear decklid, I haven't had an issues with scratches, the water beads nicely and dust comes off very easily. However, I have only had this for a short time.

I'd love to give the Blue Power CAI a shot, but unfortunately living in the tropics with heavy monsoonal rain, an open filter like that is completely out of the question for me.

I had Fusion done by Ford Dealer and after a few washes (with foam lance and two bucket method) no swirl marks on any other issues.
Water beads off extremely well and paint feels extremely smooth.

I don't see how that would be an issue with our closed bonnets?

Perhaps even more-so with pinched bonnets? Lol. I've read on here somewhere that it can get reasonably wet under there in heavy rain/ large amounts of water on the road, I just don't want to risk the pod getting flooded with dirty water and road silt. Perhaps I can have an individual Blue Power setup for the dry season?
Does it use the standard intake tube or a new custom one?

It is a custom intake tube, I might be incorrect but it would have to be near flooded to affect the power output. Your other option would be a closed top airraid or corsa

Might even just give it a shot and see what happens in the wet, best way to test it I guess? I can't remember if bluepower's CAI required a tune or not though?
I've got the new Mishimoto intake tube, which made a noticeable difference and was a great/ easy little mod. I've also got a Livernois/Airaid CAI box sitting here that I'm yet to try out as well.

Their CAI doesn't require a tune, they are getting great gains ~16rwkw without tuning.
You should give them all a try and see what works for you in that climate. I think we would all be interested!

Definitely, would be good to compare some IAT's and butt-dyno recordings between all of them. I don't actually sit in traffic that much so I don't think IAT's are really as big a concern to me now as they were initially. Apparently the Livernois guys were getting some pretty good results with the top cover lid removed from the CAI box too? Will have to get in contact with blue power as well!
