If you bought a MMR Flywheel Locking Tool to use with your transmission out, not realizing it’s for use with the transmission installed, here’s a rigged solution.

Use a bellhousing bolt with a stack of washers on top of an old socket and thread it into the dowel to prevent the flex plate from twisting.

Positions the tool into the teeth of the flywheel and the starter bolt holes. Bolts and nuts and she’s good to go.
