You still have an awesome build! Right now I'm trying to pull 415 HP out of stock long block. Over the winter (during the off season), I hope to pull my head and change my connecting rods and am currently researching a way to reduce any movement of the cylinder sleeves in the 2.3 block.
Please keep us posted on your progress!!
Thanks!
Will do mate. I have to keep the stock block for now as Ford Australia are refusing to ship me a new TS block from the USA, they only import short blocks and are not interested. Just need some gaskets and waiting on the other parts. I'm going to rering the Manley pistons as well because I was never happy with the ring gap due to excess blowby. Going to drop them down from the High boost gap setting to the medium boost gap calculation. In regard to the rods I'm using Manley H beam which are fine but if I did it again I would personally go to the 'I' beam for extra piece of mind.

Since you didn’t chase the threads that seems to be the most likely culprit. I’d also think twice on the loctite arp specifically says not to do this. At least call them before you do so and talk it over with them.
