Man I was thinking about doing the same thing. Only issue is I'd lose the 1k custom order bonus as well as the $1250 private offer I had (it expired sometime in January but is supposed to be honored since I placed the order while it was valid)

I knew the order would take a while especially with potential delays but 10 weeks with absolutely no update kinda sucks.

Yeahhh, I missed out on the 1k order bonus, but dealer compensated by adding extra to my trade-in. I do sorta regret it in a way since I really like the purple, but I just didn't wanna wait forever and I had a Mach 1 cancelled from awhile back and didn't even wanna take a chance this time lol

I put in my order on January 4, 2022. I got an email from Ford and I have my order number and dealer number, but I've not yet been assigned a VIN.

I originally ordered the Mischievous Purple, but I called and changed to the Eruption Green. The purple is just a bit dark.

Am I seeing your order right? It's the purple? Both colors were late availability.
I really hope mine gets scheduled for production soon too.

Yes... I ordered Mischievous Purple. I'm a bit concerned on how dark as well.

Thanks. Where did you see that? I saw an auto blog that said late availability was removed, but the latest order guide I could find still said the green was late availability.

When the weather was bad I was patient but now I'm dying to get a build date.

I also got the sorry for the delay email… it sounds like it’s a specific thing that I ordered that is causing the delay…

I ordered MP GT w/ white stripe, ceramic seats and active exhaust, B&O. Seems pretty straightforward…. Hoping for a build date soon!

I ordered a Mach 1 in Mischievous Purple but I called and changed it to Eruption Green. I'm still really torn...... If the purple looks like mystichrome, I definitely want it, but if it's just a dark plum like it appears on the website I'd rather have the green.

Has anyone seen the actual color? All I've seen is a post on CJ pony parts showing what some paint guy thinks it'll look like, and then what's on Ford's website.

Has anyone actually seen this paint in the real world?

It's too bad bc mystichrome is possibly the best paint that's ever been, but I'm pretty sure you're right.

Honestly I wish I could have gotten Atlas Blue but it's not offered on the Mach 1 for whatever reason. I had velocity blue on my 19 GT and loved it. The grabber blue is nice but just a bit too light for my taste.

Whatever color I hope they start pumping them out. I saw a post on Reddit, someone took a picture of a truck delivering a bunch of them including some Mach 1, but none in the green or purple late availability colors.
