nope, just my horrible painting abilities lol, it's on a piece business card
This doesn’t look like the car seen in the title post. Which is odd cause another body shop guy ordered the paint code and his sample looked like yours (color wise at least 😉)

makes me wonder if Ford has some special process for it at the factory that makes it look like the title pictures? i did see different colors at different angles in the paint though, so maybe it's something else

Did the touch up paint in the shade look like antimatter blue looks in the light or shade?

in the shade and when light is almost directly behind you, it looks a lot like Antimatter Blue, but with more green

No it matches the small car spray outs we have seen before
It looks really close the the spray outs… does not match any pics we’ve seen of mustangs in the supposed color though.

All metallics are sensitive to how they are applied. Brushed touch up will be approximate at best.

i didnt know that, but that makes sense now that i think about it, those little flakes probably get messed up by the brush

Here is a collection of some of the pictures i took of the paint a bit ago
1645720539877.png

sorry about the not the best picture, my phone had a hard time focusing on the paint so i had to do it manually, and sorry about the paint application being a little weird, im just not good at it
also, with this being touch up paint, i expect the actually properly applied paint will look even better
If that's anything to go by, I wish I could change my order.

whenI ordered mine the dealer said I could order or buy a different one if I wanted or just back out if I didn’t like it. They can’t keep deposits in this state.

i'm sure it'll look better than the pictures i took, probably closer to the title picture
either way, we'll only know for sure when people start getting theirs

$2,000 non-refundable deposit from my dealer.
Ouch! I only left $500 refundable. They asked for $1k. I said no way. Also ordered it at agreed invoice price.
