If the vinyl wouldn't work (don't see why either), you could always consider having a second pair of OEM covers painted in the colour you'd like.

Did this on a customer's request. I should double check the price, but I think the dealer quoted me €70-80 (unpainted) for a pair.

They're totally wrapable, the wrap company maybe doing what mine did which was a 'Were not pulling shit of a car this expensive'

The covers are easily removable stevec Ian whu have both done this (removed the covers)
as MMH's states, you can buy replacements, you can also get Plastidip and paint them yourself.

Try taking them off yourself and taking it to the wrappers, wont be more than ÂŁ30 to get them both done, and a 5min jobby!

called them out on it, and again they are insisting that it wont take, and will need to be redone again once it starts peeling off.

i'm a little dubious even letting them at the roof if they can't wrap / wont wrap a wing mirror. i mean. i cannot find a single reference to mirrors being unwrappable on the internet..

They're not, it's because to do it properly, they'd need to take the cap off the car, the cap is held on by clips and wing mirrors infamously crack when pulled off cars incorrectly, they don't want to risk doing that not knowing where the clip positions are, therefore ending up potentially putting pressure somewhere that could snap/crack/bend.

As for the roof, fairly simple. just sheet of wrap and smooth it off ;)!

if you take your mirror caps off yourself, they'll wrap them, and, tbh, they'll do a better job/last longer than if they did them 'on the car' like the video, as atleast with them off the edges will be unseeable.

they are insisting its nothing to do with that, that their vinyl wont stick to them.
found out the company name and looked them up and they look terrible.
some signage / graphics company.

think ill just take it to a professional outfit myself and get them to do it.

It just dawned on me. I think that they think the mirrors are that horrible plastic material, like the skirts, front grill etc and they are right, vinyl wont stick to that. Thats the only thing that makes sense.
Have you explained or shown them that the mirror covers are flat and painted body colour?
