I don't have any hard data but it seems like a lot of people with blown engines have it happen under/around 10k miles. I know there's not a lot of higher milage GT350s out there but is it one of those things where if it's going to blow up/consume oil it's going to do it early and if you get past a certain milage mark your particular motor is probably in the clear and will last a while? Or is there higher risk of engine failure with more milage as they wear and deteriorate? Or is there no rhyme or reason to it and sometimes they just kaboom?

My unscientific data, just from reading many, many threads, is that it has happened with cars as few as a couple hundred miles, to over 20K miles.
I've always believed that how you break in the engine during the first 1K miles, plays a significant role. That being said, some engines are just inherently defective, or poorly built. Case in point is the 2020 model it looks like you own. They have a timing chain tensioner service bulletin for those cars. The possiblity exists that the timing chain can jump the gear, and damage/destroy the engine. I hope you had yours checked.
