MGW Ball Jam Nut Size?

Anyone know the size of the wrench that fits the MGW shifter jam nut? Mines gone missing and I need to snug up the. I need to snug up the nut to keep the ball in proper position so the shift pattern diagram is properly oriented. If it matters it’s on a Tremac 3160 shifter but I bet all the jam nuts use the same wrench to snug them up.

Said screw it, dug out the calipers and got a very tough .615” measurement. Found a scrap aluminum strap and cut it with a hacksaw and Dremeled it smooth. Couple of test fits and got it squared up and snug. Simple project and fix but satisfying big time!

Your jam nut is inverted, not allowing it to sit inside the beveled part of the ball. The nut is making contact only partially with the rounded bottom of the ball. The ball will also sit higher this way and it will continue to slip out of position. Ask me how I know.

Well F me runnin’! I’ll get it flipped. Had a shop do the install but I should have noticed it on the YT vids I watched.
