Hey Guys,

I've had the Blowfish bracket on my stock shifter for about 2 years and it's been awesome. I haven't had any of the issues others have had with buzzing and all that, and it fixed 90% of my shifting issues. BUT, the stock shifter still sucks. I've been actively looking for deals on an MGW and think I'm going to pull the trigger, especially if there's a Black Friday sale. SO...

Since the driveshaft will be out anyway, I'm thinking about biting the bullet and installing a DSS or similar CF unit. Because I'd be running a "1-piece" I want to have a loop on the car, especially since I DD it with 2 car seats in the back.

I've already got this awesome, beefy Blowfish bracket that cost a pretty penny and my wallet will be hurtin from buying the MGW and DSS. Can I reuse the BF bracket to retain the loop? Maybe lower the top part and nip off the "ears" where the isolators are? Anybody done this?

Thanks! :ford:

Make it fit! Lol. I’m sure someone has modified it although I would not keep it, I would sell it and just use a mgw racespec. We can get you sorted when you’re ready.. oh 1pc as well. Let any of us know here at Lethal.

anything can be modified. we haven't personally installed the 2 together, but anything can be done.

the dss cf piece is very nice as well.

feel free to give us a ring to discuss your build and we'll get you dialed in with everything you need.
