Hey guys,

I just my steeda suspension installed. Pro action shocks and struts. Lower control arm bearings. Camber plates. Cradle lockout kit. Toe to knuckle bearings. Rear toe links. After install, there’s now a metallic spinning noise coming from the front left wheel area only when I turn right, or when the car is going through a right turn. I took it back to the shop, they checked the brake dust shield, it’s not touching anything. They blow air through the caliper and pad in case of dust being stuck inside it. It didn’t fix it. The sound. Calipers and pads only have 2000 miles on them. Rotors are new drilled rotors with about 1500 miles on them. But this sound only started after suspension install. What do you guys think it could be? Thanks!

Have you been able to diagnose the problem? I'm having a similar problem after changing my wheels. I get a metallic brake sounding noise when turning right at low speeds. I took it to Ford but according to them they were not able to replicate the noise nor find anything wrong with the brakes or suspension when doing their checks. I even had the service manager step in the car with me to show him that I could replicate the noise but the noise decided to stop when he was in the car with me... just my luck.

I'd recheck the dust shield to make sure it's not rubbing on the backside of the rotor. The performance pack dust shield is pretty small and has two distinct "ears" that can be bent separately from each other. I've done it a couple times on accident and it makes that metallic rubbing noise that occurs primarily when turning.

I’m still using the stock 4 piston dust shield. I installed the Brembos without the PP shields. It’s been checked twice and it’s not touching anything. I may just have them removed. I can’t think of anything else. Maybe a bearing? It only started making the noise after my suspension was installed.
