Mesh grill badge location

I'm replacing the standard grill on my GT with a mesh version and am thinking of putting on a tri-bar pony badge. My question is do you mount it on the left or right side? And does it matter if the car is RHD?

I might be a bit nostalgic but I'd go with the drivers side of the grill. That's where the tri-bar pony was back in 69. I suspect if the 69 was available in RHD, it would have been in front of the driver as well.
