How do you remove it from the front grill. DO you have to go in from the back
I have yet to find any answer to what's involved in front pony removal. So anyone, anyone?

1. Pop the hood.
2. Remove the black plastic cover for the radiator. It requires a flathead screwdriver to pop loose about 8 plastic retainers.
3. Unless you have tiny hands, you'll want to remove the hood latch mechanism. Requires a small ratchet, a deep well socket (I forget the diameter), and removing two nuts/washers.
4. Slide your hand down in the space where the hood latch was attached, and feel around on the back side of the grille for 4 plastic pins. The ends of these pins can be snapped off with minimal effort from one finger.
5. After you break off the pins, push outward on the remaining bits of the pins until you can slowly pull the pony out from the front of the grille. I applied a little pressure to the pins with one hand, while pulling from the outside with my other hand.
