Hey Burkey congrats on Sally she looks stunning. I was considering the Magnaflow Competition Axle Back also. Is Sally auto or manual? I spoke to a Magnaflow rep and reckons the axle back drones on an auto GT. How have you found it?

She's a manual. I can see how it "might" drone on an auto.
If I put her in (say) third at really really low revs and boot it she gets a little boomy.
Mind you, I'm doing this deliberately to find the drone zone. It's not the way I drive the car. I tend to rev her a little more than I need to cos I just ADORE the sound of this engine!
It's a nice DEEP tone. You kinda feel it in your chest a bit.
I still have the sound tube hooked up and I'm considering just clamping it off for a test run before committing to removal. I'd like to try the same third gear experiment with the tube out of order, just to see if there's any real change.
I can't even try to capture the sound on vid, it just totally misses the point of the exercise.

Yeah mate, I reckon you might be right.
MF seem to think the street is gonna meet our sound regs.
I can't comment on that but given that the street uses a chambered muffler rather than the open type of the Comp, that would seem to be somewhere nearer the mark.

I do reckon the rear three quarter view or side on from rear looking forwards makes the car look stunning at those angles. If Burkey had of ordered the nickel luster wheels then imo it can make the darker colours look more european in their look than muscle car. Nice either way but it changes the characteristics a bit if you ask me, just a simple wheel color change. Congrats Burkey, nice looking car.

Hi Adam, I got your request through messenger but then it disappeared before I could action anything...
The SC chat is dead and buried sorry mate.
Some of us took delivery and realised that it doesn't "need" the extra power just yet. I guarantee that it will happen though at some stage, probably a few years away though. :cheers:
