Does anybody here have any experience with or hearing an mbrp race catback with an x pipe installed. This system comes standard with an H pipe. Has anyone heard it with the x pipe?

This is a clip of my car with the mbrp race catback with the H Pipe. I love the crackle and pop sounds that is catback produces. But I think with the x pipe it would make it even louder and more aggressive

I've heard a few in person with the x pipe setup and I think they sound great compared to the others out there. If you want to see what kind of pricing we can get you for a setup, hit me up anytime. :sunglasses:

Do you guys have x pipe that will fit h pipe from 3" MBRP race version. I want to switch out the h pipe for the x pipe. I cant seem to find enough details on an x pipe that i can replace with the 3" race version most are 2.5" or they require cutting. Thanks

What x pipe did you use? My car is loud but I love it. I want x to get a little more rasp out of it and I heard it has a little less drone at 2k rpm.

Primary source of the drone is the mbrp race as its basically a muffler delete. Swapping axle backs will address drone far more than h to x.

I have this exact system and it sounds great. Why change it? Do you really think switching from an h pipe to an x is going to change it enough to make it worth the cost and hassle? Want to make it louder than spend the extra ant buy some catless headers, probably going to cost you another 2k to make a super loud exhaust even louder.

What 2k!? Most x pipe are under $200. RASPIER!!!! more rasp. Is what I am looking for. Personal preference only. Just wanted to know if anyone has switched to x pipe from the options that are for sale on the internet with success. Not looking for opinions. Thanks

For the record I called MBRP and asked if they make a X-pipe equivalent to replace the H-pipe for the MBRP race version. Which is 3", their response, "they do not at this time, they only make one for the non-race or 2.5" version. Thx
