Send mine to 8600rpms.. but opg and boosted. I try not to go up to that tho
What rocker arms/valve springs/cams do/did you have?

The oem rocker arm retaining clips seem to come off occasionally somewhere around 8400 RPM or possibly less. I lost 8 of mine and I think a couple messed up a couple of my cam lobes and may have even contributed to a cam cap breaking the bolts off in the head.

I think Ill try keep it below 8k from now on and have some type of softer limiter around 8200 after I get my motor back together.

What does the manifold have to do with revving high RPMS? I have a custom ported 18 manifold in my 15 idk what difference that made other than a HP increase

Peak hp at different RPM on NA setups atleast. Usually its good to rev as high as possible with boosted cars though, and mt82 and centris especially (if they arent overspinning), as high as your valve springs and rocker arms can handle which , IMO if they are stock... stay below 8200 rpm max.
