Hello all,

New to the FI world and have a qick question. I did the intercooler with charge pipe upgrade today and it came with the Turbosmart Supersonic BOV. Everything went smooth but I really dislike the BOV sound, does anyone know if there a system that is quiet like the stove BPV that fits on to the bung?

It's this kit

You can get the linked BOV cheaper through MAP but is listed under universal parts. The flange welded to your hotpipe is for a Turbosmart BOV.

Turbosmart has a plumb back version so that it can vent back into the intake tube like the stock BOV.

Thanks guys! My next upgrade is the FP tune, do you think the plumb back version will be much more quiet with the updated intake the the TS unit is now?

Absolutely the DV style will be quite compared to any vent to atmosphere BOV
I have the MIT pipe and Green Filter and it's still too quiet for me.

I'll be going FP Tune soon but am sticking with the MIT pipe and Green Filter for Intake to keep hot air out since I'm rocking the stock Intercooler for now

Most likely. The turbo-hiss sound you hear is the blowoff valve venting to atmosphere. A bypass valve dumps right back into the intake, hence less audible sound. It'll work the same with a new intake.

Does anybody have the MAP charge pipes change the Supersonic BOV to something else? I also would like to quiet down my daily driver.

I assume the flange on the MAP hot side pipe can be used to install all of the TurboSmart BOVs of the same size (32mm / 38mm), but just want to double check. Thanks!
