I can't get the MIT pipe to mate up with the FP Tune bucket so if you go FP Tune you're going to use the stock intake pipe.
The bucket fitment is shit and actually touches the cold side IC piping so not sure how that's supposed to be decent
I'd like to test flow on both full setups vs. having...
First impressions after driving around today and putting on a hundred miles is it does hold more boost lower now, unlike how it vents boost at partial throttle in stock form. It drives exactly how you'd want it to and makes me wonder why it didn't have these drive characteristics off the lot...
Yes the sounds get louder but I believe that could have been more from the Green Filter.
I could instantly tell there was a better pull in the car with my ass dyno.
Now that I have my FP Tune I'm going to try the MIT pipe with the OEM Box & MIT + FP intake bucket
Tune going in... I'll add my experience with the 2017 Auto this weekend
*Update*
Installed putting some miles on the car this weekend
I'm going to try a few variations with the MIT to get whatever produces (if fitment works)
MIT+Green Filter/Stock Box
MIT+FP Tune Bucket
Can't find anything on the real changes but did see something mentioned from the Focus RS head designed to better deal with the high temperatures which could have been tossed into the 2017's on Torque News
Yup, fakebook is the last place I'm going to search for any valid info
I have the MIT pipe and Green Filter on right now. I also have the FP Tune intake sitting so if I can get super cheap dyno time I'll swap them to see if there are any gains regardless.
Just need to have the Tune...
Ahhhh the first hand assumption that the search function nets the exact results people are looking for or that everyone knows exactly what to type for particular results... get over yourself
Then again being the internet I'm not sure why I decided to play captain obvious :frusty:
Come on bud... sometimes people have been on forums too long and forget that people will ask questions
What they hell are forums for these days? Every long timer just waiting for the opportunity to shout "use the search"
That's was one part I have been looking for... since there are so many ridiculous threads that I'm not reading through can you link me to one where it's been covered?
Yea I like the fangs, wish they would have made the OEM grilles with most of the honeycomb actually open instead of all blocked off.
Oh well, as long as the GT upper and lower will work with the Eco & its AGS I'll be good to remove some of the blocked portions for a bit more cooling here in AZ
