All,

I finally found time to install my new intercooler and charge pipe kit.

The intercooler (CPE) installed with no issues.

However, on the Mishimoto pipe kit the 2.0" in t-bolt clamp appears to be too small. It will not even fit (fully open) over the bare turbo outlet.

Any ideas?

I plan to buy a bigger one at a local parts store but didn't know if anyone else had run into this issue.

It doesn't fit. I used the stock oem clamp until I bought a larger one that did fit. I think it was 2 1/4 inch.

Same here I'm still using the stock clamp on mine.

Those Mishimoto clamps run small it seems, I got one for mine on the hot side and it wouldn't go on at all. I use a good hose clamp and it's all good now, I had issues with the hose blowing off under boost. Holds 26 psi now no problem.

Maperformance makes a proper t-clamp set. I bought it a awhile back and I think it's $15.

Agreed with the above comments. The small hot side clamp doesn't fit. You can use the stock clamp or get a properly sized T clamp fitting if you want. Also the hot side pipe/hose combo is marginally too short but you can get it working if you play around a bit.

On the plus side they look really nice in the engine bay.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I picked up a different T-Bolt clamp to make it work, though I think it is 1/4"in too big.

I plan on reaching out to Mishimoto support. Has anyone else done that?

I was planning on contacting them but the stock clamp has been fine so I never bothered.

Hi All,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We are in the process of looking into this now to determine why the right size clamp was not included, and correct this going forward.

If anyone still needs the correct clamp, please contact our customer service team at [email protected].

Thanks again!
