Hello everyone,

First time poster/lurker here.
I have a magnetic metallic mustang with the stock 18 inch aluminum wheels. Needless to say I don't really like they all too much and would like to replace them.

I was wondering, what color of wheels go best with the magnetic color? I was thinking black maybe to keep with the grey and black trim theme or a darker silver/grey perhaps for some contrast?

I was looking around and these really caught my eye. The colors look great especially the black pearl.

Any thoughts, input, pics are appreciated
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, from what you've mentioned l think you're on the right track. I also spied those Enkei's as well, good looking wheels.

That enkei is a good looking wheel. Don't know that I saw those in my wheel search journey! I went with the niche Verona in gunmetal on my DIB to get away from the black wheel look.

Hey welcome to the board !

So for a magnetic is a really diverse color and you can have pretty much everything pair well with the car.

Bronze
Red
Gunmetal ( gloss or satin)
Black
Silver

Ive done every single one of these combos on members magnetics and they have come out badass !

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone.

Those are some nice pictures, I do like the grey wheels. It's good to know that metallic can mesh with so many other colors. In the end I think I'll either go for a black or solid aluminum darker silver color.

I really like my Gloss Graphite Vossen CVT's, they match the car perfectly IMO.
Those look....amazing! I haven't seen those wheels look better on any other car. Very nice.

Hello and welcome to the forum. The magnetic grey is a great color and you can go with many different color combinations. Here are a few pictures so you can get an idea.

I'm going to glom onto this thread here. I also have a Magnetic GT. Does anyone have any good options for wheels to fit the PP brakes? I'm also vaguely looking for a square setup. (Though I'm not looking to buy right away; just examining options.) The black-on-magnetic is okay, but it doesn't really turn me on all that much. I kind of dig the Velgens in the second and third photos there.

Thank you, our wheels fit the PP brakes :headbang:

I like the looks of those wheels but worry about the lack of sidewall wrt performance, price, and ride quality. It looks like I need to do some research!

Well the size of the side wall really all depends on how low you go. Most of our customers will run 275/35/20 in the front and 295/35/20 in the rear or sometimes even a 305/35/20 in the rear. The ride quality will be great as long as you get proper tire sizes and a good brand of tire. Do your research and feel free to PM me if you have any other questions
