I have magnetic on my car but I absolutely am in love with the blue on the 350.

View attachment 498029 Yesterday I went to the dealer (north of Boston) to see about trading in my wifes 2015 EB and ordering a 2020 GT Premium in Magnetic grey. I've been searching and there are none out there to my liking so I figured I'd order one...First problem I encountered was salesman told me Fords no longer taking orders on 2020 Mustangs and I'll have to wait and order a 2021....no big deal. Second problem he told me Ford was dropping the Magnetic grey for 2021...WTH!!! I love this color. I don't want to be the one starting false rumors but can anyone confirm this? Guess I may have to go to Option B on the color.

That’s correct. Magnetic was dropped for the 2021 model year. I believe the closest replacement is going to be carbonized grey metallic but I have not seen real photos of it yet. Just renderings.

Thanx...Salesman did say there was a different grey for 2021 so I guess we shall see, hopefully it's as good or better then the Magnetic.

Yep, that's correct.

All things are subject to change (for example, there's a "new" metallic red for '21MY called Lucid Red, but it has the same paint code as the '20MY Rapid Red.....so potentially nothing more than a name change. Also, Yellow Peel appears to now be Grabber Yellow, so another name change for the same color code).

But Carbonized Grey Metallic is paint code M7 whereas Magnetic is J7.......so definitely a color change. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Magnetic has had a long run since '15MY.
