I have a non-Performance Pack EB Premium model and am wondering if anyone thinks it would be possible to have some sort of local machine shop add an engine turned finish to the aluminum dash trim, similar to what the Performance Pack dash looks like.

I understand the Performance Pack dash trim is over $1,000 and also requires the center gauges to be installed, whereas I have three center air vents right now. I am told that the trim is real aluminum, so I don't see why the finish couldn't be changed from brushed to engine turned.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas on whether this can be done and which types of businesses would do it, as well as a ballpark estimate on what something like that would cost.

I bet it would be the same cost or more. Maybe seach a junkyard. Long shot I know.

Its not that hard to do yourself with a manually operated drill press and some time, but its tough because the surface is curved.
