Yes Porsche, BMW and Ford seem to be the only manufacturers where you have a good choice of drivers cars and value for money. Yes Porsche are expensive but they make some amazing cars.

Horses for courses. During my wait I have been tempted by a used 997.2 for the same price as my new mustang, but put off by stories of the chocolate engine problems well known in the Porsche world. I was even tempted by a new 991.2 base spec with warranty to overcome engine concerns.... But they sound like a bag of nails compared to the coyote so I couldn't bring myself to do it.... No matter how well made the rest of the car is.

Yep, couldn't agree more, once you suss the spec's and value for money on a Porsche, compared to your Rari's and Lambo's they're quite something, may not have the same attraction value on the streets, but my god their track presence is something.

Anyway.... Still take my stang over most cars, if I was to have a 'collection' im sure car's such as an M2, M4, Maybe an I8 for 'looks' and Porsches were to come into it, but we'll revisit such discussion when I'm building said collection in a few years ;)
